Paso a Paso is a family owned and operated agency with 30 years of experience providing HCS and TxHmL services in the great State of Texas. We count with two main offices one in Dallas and one in Laredo, providing services in the regions of Dallas, Fort Worth, Mount Pleasant, Gilmer, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Brownsville, McAllen, Pharr, Zapata, Laredo, etc.
Throughout the years we have been mastering all aspects of the HCS and TxHmL programs to provide the best service possible. Services
Host Home Companion Care:
Help families and clients with individualized service to people living in their family’s home, their own homes, helps with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing and bathing. This also can include individualized skills & socialization.

Speech/language Pathology:
Case Coordinator will assist the families in finding a professional speech therapist in the event the client has speech/language difficulties.

Occupational Therapy:
If a client has a condition or illness that makes it difficult to perform their daily tasks the Case Coordinator will assist the families by finding the Occupational Therapist.

Physical Therapy:
If client has difficulty with mobility the Case Coordinator will assist families in finding a physical Therapist

Psychological Services:
Case Coordinator assists families in need of psychological services by looking for a professional that can provide services to our population. Also includes setting up appointments and following up with families afterwards
Comunity First Choice & Respite Services:
Provide temporary relief for primary caregivers. To give them time to rest, travel, or spend time with others

Nursing Services:
Ensure that nursing is provided in accordance with the individual's person-directed plan (PDP); individual plan of care

Individualized Skills and Socialization Services:
If requested by client’s family, we provide In Home ISS

Minor Home Modification:
Home modifications are done according to the individual’s needs. $7,500 is provided for the modifications, this amount is a lifetime. The changes are made to adapt living spaces to meet the needs of the individuals’ physical limitations so that they can continue to live independently and safely. These modifications may include adding assistive technology or making structural changes to a home.

Dietary Services:
These services are recommended by either the client’s doctor or the PAP nurse.

Audiology Services:
Case Coordinator assist families in setting up treatment options and services. Helping families secure necessary resources

Adaptive Aids:
Case Coordinator assists in looking for adaptive aids that are needed by the client but are not paid by Medicaid.

Dental Services:
Dental services are provided to all clients twice a year unless the dentist provides a treatment plan for further services
